N.H. Certified Green Yards
Auto recycling yards that operate in a manner above and beyond compliance can earn the designation "Certified N.H. Green Yard" by showing exemplary environmental work practices and meeting certain criteria. This pilot program gives special recognition to those yards that volunteered to take part in the program. Designated yards must sign a statement of acceptance and stay in compliance with applicable environmental best management practices and local, state, and federal requirements, in order to retain their certification.
