Concord, NH – Governor John Lynch and officials from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation and the University of New Hampshire will officially open a new DOT biodiesel fueling facility in Durham on August 2, 2006. This event marks the first use of biodiesel by DOT and UNH vehicles.

The State of New Hampshire is entering a new era in fueling diesel vehicles by dedicating one of the fuel tanks at its Durham fueling depot to a 20 percent blend of biodiesel (B20). You are invited to join Governor Lynch at the Durham DOT fueling facility to learn about this renewable, cleaner burning fuel and take a ride in one of UNH’s new advanced technology and alternative fuel vehicles that will also be highlighted during the event.
The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) is assisting with the coordination of this event.
Directions to the NH DOT Durham fueling depot: Route 4 to Route 155A Exit. Turn toward Durham on 155A (Concord Road). Proceed for approximately ¼ mile and turn right onto West Edge Drive. The DOT fueling facility is on your left.
