Press Conference on the Release of the New Hampshire Water Resources Primer and the State Water Plan Process -
February 10, 9:30 a.m., State Legislative Office Building Lobby, Concord
Concord, NH – On February 10, 2009, The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, State Legislators and other stakeholders will announce the release of the New Hampshire Water Resource Primer, an overview publication of the state's water resources and issues with respect to their management. The Primer represents a significant step in the development of New Hampshire’s water resources plan. It was developed as part of an initiative to produce a statewide, comprehensive water plan, spearheaded by the Legislature’s statutory Water Resources Committee. Following the press conference, DES, over the next couple of months, will hold series of public information sessions throughout the state to put forward the information present in the primer and state water plan process, and to solicit public input.
