DES Announces Draft Project Priority Lists for Projects Funded through the American Recover and Reinvestment Act of 2009
Draft Project Priority Lists for Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) announced today the draft Intended Use Plans and draft Project Priority Lists for projects funded in part through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. The information is posted on the DES webpage dedicated to ARRA information, http://des.nh.gov/recovery/index.htm.

DES will hold a public hearing on April 3, 2009, at 9:00 am in the auditorium located at 29 Hazen Drive, Concord to present the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) draft Intended Use Plans (IUP) and draft Project Priority Lists (PPL) for projects funded in part through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

A joint CWSRF and DWSRF presentation will commence at 9:00 am followed by a formal public hearing on the CWSRF IUP and PPL from 9:30 am to 11:00 am and on the DWSRF IUP and PPL from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Oral and written comments will be accepted from the public at the hearing. Written comments will also be accepted until 4:00 pm, April 10, 2009.

DES will give consideration to each comment received. Please address all written comments as follows:
