New Hampshire Drinking Water Festival and 4th Grade Water Science Fair Finals, May 7 in Manchester

Concord, NH - The annual New Hampshire Drinking Water Festival and 4th Grade Water Science Fair will be held Wednesday, May 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Manchester Water Works Facility. The event is sponsored by the New Hampshire Drinking Water Coalition to encourage future leaders and scientists to participate in learning about one of the world’s most precious resources, water!

This year’s event will include about 400 Fourth and Third Grade Students from the Manchester School District. In addition to the festival, the finals for the 4th Grade Water Science Fair will be held in the morning and the winners will be announced as part of the festival mid-day. The finalists for the science fair are from schools in Keene, Manchester, Marlborough, and Harrisville.

The media, home school groups or families are welcome to stop by and check out the festivities. Event information is provided below.

When: Wednesday, May 7, 2014; Drinking water festival is from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4th Grade Science Fair Awards will be presented at 12:10 p.m.
