NHGS Online Data
The NHGS maintains the state's well records and electronic database, typically collecting and entering more than 5,000 records per year from the NH Water Well Board. Presently, the database contains more than 112,000 water well records for the DES, of which more than 52,000 are geo-referenced. (09/18/08)
Geospatial Data
Geospatial geologic and hydrologic data (as well as other geospatial data) created by the NHGS are available at the state's geospatial data repository, GRANIT. The NHGS is continuously refining and improving our data sets, and we strive to make new programmatic information available as soon a possible. Please call the NHGS, at (603) 271-4087, if you do not find the geologic geospatial data that you need at GRANIT, since we may have files available that are not listed on the GRANIT catalog.
