Groundwater Level Monitoring Program

The NHGS, in cooperation with the US Geological Survey (USGS), monitors groundwater levels from a statewide monitoring network statewide. Groundwater levels in selected observation wells are measured every month on a year-round basis by the NHGS. Data from some wells are collected by volunteers. These data are shared with the USGS, which posts the data on its web site. more...
