The AERMOD Implementation Guide contains an updated procedure for determining surface characteristics for input into the AERMET processor. To facilitate this procedure, EPA has developed AERSURFACE (08009), which processes 1992 land cover data to generate values of surface roughness, albedo and Bowen ratio.
