Air Compliance Reporting for Stationary Sources

Stationary air pollution sources issued a permit to operate by the Air Resources Division are required to report to DES, at least annually, the data necessary to demonstrate compliance with the permit’s terms and conditions. Minimally, the source must report the emissions generated during the previous calendar year of operation. In general, the larger and more complex the source and the more complicated the permit conditions, the more reporting the source will have to do to meet its obligations under the state and federal requirements. Depending on whether the reporting is required by a state or a federal rule, the source may be required to submit its reports solely to DES, or to both DES and the EPA. more…
