Interactive Video Networked Locations
Two sessions of the "New Hampshire Climate Change Action Plan Public Listening Sessions" will be held via interactive videoconference. The first such event will be conducted at 4 sites around the Seacoast on September 15th and the second event will be held at 3 sites in the North Country on September 29th. These videoconferences are being hosted by the Granite State Distance Learning Network (GSDLN) and are open to all members of the public.
These videoconference sessions use a live, two-way, interactive, audio-visual connection via the internet that allows multiple sites to simultaneously participate in a conference. This has the advantage of reducing the distance that NH residents must travel to attend and share their comments and concerns. The technology used by the GSDLN creates an experience that feels just like being in the room with each of the speakers. The events are fully 2-way interactive so attendees at any site will be able to speak directly to all the other attendees, the Task Force members and NH Department of Environmental Services staff
