Solid Waste Facility Operator Certification - Renewals

Solid waste facility operators must renew their certification each year by submitting a renewal application with a fee of $50 and confirmation of having attended or participated in a continuing education event or activity. An additional $25 late fee is due for renewal applications received by DES after the existing certification expires.

DES does not mail renewal reminders to operators or facilities.
