Land Resources Management
Land Resources Management, a subsection of the Water Division, coordinates communication and resources across those bureaus and permit programs that regulate land development projects throughout the state to reduce the impact on aquatic resources. The public will begin to see the “Land Resources Management” name used, as the permitting process is streamlined to provide a more cost effective and efficient process amongst these related programs. Land Resources Management includes the Alteration of Terrain Bureau, Drinking Water and Groundwater Bureau, Subsurface Systems Bureau, and Wetlands Bureau, which includes the Shoreland Program.
