Commissioner’s Declaration 
– Souhegan Protected Flows Established (April 1, 2008)
The Souhegan Protected Instream Flow study report (February 26, 2008) describes the scientific methods and results of the study to define protected flows on the Souhegan Designated River. On April 1, 2008, Commissioner Burack established the protected flows as water quality standards for the Souhegan Designated River. All future permits will need to comply with the established flows. A Water Management Plan is being developed for the Souhegan watershed to maintain these flows.
