DES’s Brownfields Program is eligible to participate in an ARRA grant competition round to seek stimulus funding for low interest loans and clean-up subgrants for the clean-up of “shovel ready” Brownfields Sites. DES’s application must be post marked by the close of business on May 1, 2009 and must include information regarding specific sites/projects that would be addressed with the stimulus funding. Accordingly, DES is seeking detailed nominations from interested eligible parties. Eligibility criteria and site/project nomination procedures are detailed in the press release and nomination forms provided below. Nomination packages from eligible parties must be received before 5 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2009.
