DES offers a variety of environmental education programs and publications for classroom teachers and nature educators and leaders.

In addition to structured curriculums, fact sheets, and videos, DES can provide speakers for classroom demonstrations and discussions. Tours of working areas of environmental protection, including air monitoring stations, water or wastewater treatment facilities, and a limnology lab can also be arranged for a limited number of groups. All requests are on a first come, first served basis, and there is limited availability for certain resources.
