The drinking water treatment, distribution and combined grade 1A operator examinations are scheduled to be given on April 23, 2024, July 18, 2024 and October 29, 2024.
Persons planning to take an examination must submit an Application for Water Works Operator Certification and a $50 fee for each exam. NHDES must receive completed applications with fee at least 30 days prior to the exam date.

If unable to attend in person, a computer-based option is available at various testing locations across the state throughout the year. Please submit the same application and fee and simply select the “online eligibility” box on the top right of your completed application.
