Asbestos

Asbestos is commonly found in heating system insulation, vinyl floor tiles and sheet flooring, roofing paper and shingles, cement siding shingles, drywall panel and other building construction products. 

Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) need to be handled a certain way and must be disposed at a facility permitted to take asbestos.

Disturbing and inhaling asbestos fibers can cause lung cancer, mesothelioma and other serious health conditions. To prevent exposure, learn how to manage asbestos.
